Nafplio

Nafplio, the picturesque seaside city with a the multitude of restaurants, bars and shops.
In 1829 it was declared the first capital of liberated Greece.

The small but excellent Archaeological Museum of Nafplio and the 17^th century fortress Palamidi reveal the city’s importance through the ages.
